Anything To Get Me Out Of Here

Colorless, we're all colorless
in loveless grace
conceptualize your lucky stars
before gravity can tear
you from the elastic sky.
Grow old in a minute
so as not to waste
those parched moments,
shake hands with the sun
make friends with a hurricane
don't forget what the red wood said.

Dance a dance, pray a prayer
anything to get me out of here.

Walk before the shadows
learn from angels, it's all there
written, lost and found...
correlate - debate.
Watchman yells 'stop man',
rain don't fail me now
wash this blood
from the corners of my eyes.

Epiphany in a starburst,
taste the relief
in her smokey sigh,
you can touch but you'll never see
I can guarantee so follow me;
they are the men, we are the men,
I am the apple!

Dance a dance, pray a prayer,
anything to get me out of here.
