Pure and Perfect

Alabaster finger tips
sway to and fro
slicing through lemon rays
that delicately curtain
a silently steadfast body
stretched out among
parched barley stalks,
a moment of tranquility
between the pricks
of hopes fruitless needle;
her gentle head pure and perfect
in its esoteric nakedness.

I like your poetry, because it flows in a very orignial way. It maintains rhythm in the most un-typical way ever. Good work! Great words! Good deal!

"a silently steadfast body

parched barley stalks,"--brilliant part. 'steadfast body' does it for me. Bravo Ms.Paige.
